Why does a Seedance shot cost more?

Seedance is billed by tokens, which grow with resolution, length and the number of references. That puts it at the top of our video models per second. The canvas shows the price before you render.

Is Seedance free on Reigniter?

No. Video needs a paid plan, starting with Pro, and every render is priced in credits. You see the price before you run it, and a failed render is not charged.

Is Reigniter affiliated with ByteDance?

No. Reigniter is an independent product. Seedance is a third-party model made by ByteDance, and we reach it through our providers' APIs.

Why Reigniter routes to Seedance

Auto select reads every shot and sends it to the model that fits. You can override it on any scene, and whatever you pick is what renders.

When Auto select uses Seedance

Auto select does not choose Seedance. It is opt-in: pick it on a scene and Reigniter uses it, and bills for it.

When it goes elsewhere

In our own side-by-side on a branded product shot, MiniMax H3 held the brand at a fraction of Seedance's measured cost, so H3 is the reference model Auto reaches for.
If Seedance fails on a shot, another reference model covers it with the same images and the same prompt.
