Because every render in Reigniter is priced before it runs. Turbo is billed per second of output; the full Gen-3 is billed by compute time, which cannot be quoted in advance.

Is Runway free on Reigniter?

No. Video needs a paid plan, starting with Pro, and every render is priced in credits. You see the price before you run it, and a failed render is not charged.

Is Reigniter affiliated with Runway?

No. Reigniter is an independent product. Runway is a third-party model made by Runway, and we reach it through our providers' APIs.

When Auto select uses Runway

When a Standard shot's first model fails, Gen-3 Turbo takes over. It is a different model family, so one outage cannot stop both.

When it goes elsewhere

Auto does not choose Gen-3 Turbo for a first attempt. You can pick it on any scene.
People shots go to MiniMax H3 on Standard and Kling 3 Pro on Premium.
